Hollins Lacrosse Program Gets New Leader

Read More...Hollins University Director of Athletics David Zinn is pleased to announce the hiring of Danielle O’Leary to the position of head lacrosse coach and instructor of physical education.  After a nationwide search, O’Leary comes to the Roanoke, VA campus from New England College where she served as an assistant coach for the past two seasons.

The Hollins University soccer team traveled back to North Carolina for the first time since a season opening trip to Raleigh and Greensboro.  Hollins faced Salem College on Wednesday afternoon looking to break a three game skid. 

   

Hollins Netters Stay Hot At Home

Hollins capped a three match run at home by sweeping Mary Baldwin College on Saturday afternoon.  It marked the second sweep of the Squirrels in as many days. 

   

Hollins Advances To ODAC Women's Tennis Finals

The Hollins University tennis team started the season by being tabbed second in the ODAC preseason poll and on Friday morning they solidified their selection by defeating Bridgewater College in the semifinal round of the 2011 ODAC Women's Tennis Tournament. 

   

Hollins Rally Falls Short

Hollins took the court for the final time in 2010 when they traveled out of conference to face Peace College on Sunday afternoon.  Hollins looked for revenge as the Pacers came from behind to beat Hollins in Roanoke one year ago. 

   

Hollins Leaves No Doubt

After hosting the defending ODAC champs on Monday night, Hollins traveled to Randolph College looking to get back on the winning track Wednesday night and when it was all said and done, Hollins came back home with a 80-53 ODAC win.
