The Roanoke College Baseball program announces the First Annual Fall Prospect Camp for October 27, 2012, held at Salem Kiwanis Park. The camp is open to high school baseball players from grades 9-12.
The First Annual Roanoke College Baseball Fall Prospect Camp will consist of a pro-style workout that will include multiple drills, showcase batting practice, defensive positional breakdowns, hitting stations and coach and player pitched games.
In Mcguire's first year at the helm, he has created the day long camp to assist local baseball players, while also raising awareness of the growing Ronaoke baseball program.
"We wanted to start a camp to generate interest in our school and baseball program here at Roanoke College," said McGuire. "It will give prospective student-athletes an opportunity to get to know our staff, see our campus and facilities, and learn more about the opportunities Roanoke College can provide."
The camp will cost $75 and all campers must register through mail by Friday, October 19th. Due to the number of limited spaces, please try to register as soon as possible.
