The Ronaoke Volleyball team fell in three sets to Virginia Wesleyan (14-25, 16-25, 9-25) on Saturday.  

The Maroons now hold a record of 7-6 and are 1-3 in ODAC play, while the Marlins advance with a record of 10-2 and hold a 3-0 record in the ODAC.

Shannon Stone led the team with 13 assists, she also finished the contest with four digs.  Mackenzie Tyree continues to lead the team in digs with 11 in the match, followed by Brittany Peterson with six.  Rachel Kilinski led the Maroons with five kills, while Allison White and Macey Tyree finished with four each.

Tempe Martens led the Marlins with nine kills, followed by Kala Guy with eight.  Mallory Slade topped all players with 23 assists.

The Maroons return to action as they travel to Bridgewater College on Wednesday, September 19th.  That contest is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
