Blacksburg's State Tournament run came to an end, when Madison Heights beat Blacksburg O-Zone in a thrilling 2-1 game. 

In what would become a pitchers duel, Blacksburg Ethan Goforth held Madison Heights to just 2 runs, but the Bruins bats were held in check by solid Madison Heights pitching.
