Rec Leagues

The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department would like to announce the following programs being offered throughout the summer.

Blacksburg Parks and Recreation will be offering a Basketball Camp. There will be two separate camps one on Tuesdays beginning June 5 and one on Thursdays beginning June 9 and lasting thru August 9 at Kipps Gym from 6-8pm.

The City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation will begin pool season with a soft opening at Washington Park Pool on Saturday, June 2, from noon to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, June 3 from noon to 6 p.m. Washington Park Pool will open for the season on Friday, June 8 at noon.

The Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting the 1^st Annual Pitch, Hit, and Run competition this Saturday, April 14 at 10 am at the Kiwanis Big Field.

The Blacksburg Aquatic Center will be offering American Red Cross Lifeguard Training April 23 - May 4. The class will meet from 6-9 pm every Monday - Friday. Per American Red Cross guidelines, participation in each class is mandatory. There will be no makeup classes for missed classes. Participants must be 15 years of age or older.

The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a pair of softball clinics in March and April.

The Botetourt Sports Complex will host another prestigious collection of events in its fifth full season of operation when the upcoming season officially kicks off in early March.

The Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation is currently accepting registrations for its volleyball and softball programs for the upcoming season.

Carroll County Parks and Recreation Dixie Baseball, Softball, T-ball, and Machine Pitch registrations will begin on February 21 thru March 23.

The Christiansburg Dept of Parks and Recreation is currently taking registrations for its Fly Fishing Clinic and a Youth Basketball Free-for-All.
