Rockbridge County's Andrew Rowsey and Darrell Plogger took the top two honors on the 2012 All-Blue Ridge District Boys Basketball Team, as the pair were named Player and Coach of the Year, respectively.

Lord Botetourt's Jade Lewis and Chuck Pound were selected as the Player and Coach of the Year, respectively on the 2012 All- Blue Ridge District Girls’ Basketball Team.

Lord Botetourt swept the top honors on the 2011 All-Blue Ridge District Boys Soccer Team, as Macey Tyree and Jamie Bednarek were named the Player and Coach of the Year, respectively.

   

Vikings Advance, Terriers Fall

The Northside girls cruised to a 5-0 win over Jefferson Forest in the opening round of the Region III girls tennis team tournament, while William Byrd fell 5-0 to Wilson Memorial Tuesday afternoon.

   

Cavaliers Crush Colonels

Read More...Dylan Powers busted a walk-off three-run homer in the fifth inning to give Lord Botetourt a 16-4 non-district baseball win over William Fleming Thursday in Daleville. The game was called after five innings dur to the slaughter rule.
