Lord Botetourt started off the season by claiming a 27 stroke win over second-place finisher Northside in the season opening Blue Ridge District Mini-Tournament Tuesday at the Ashley Plantation.
The Cavaliers shot a team score of 301 to take the top spot, followed by Northside (328), Alleghany (339), William Byrd (341) and Staunton River (341).
