The Lord Botetourt wrestling team is returning its most seasoned teams in several years, as the Cavaliers look to improve on last year's third place finish in the Blue Ridge District.

When the Lord Botetourt boys’ basketball team hits the hardwood this season, they will be counting on five returning players to provide the leadership, as the Cavaliers work to improve on last year's third place showing in the Blue Ridge District.

The Lord Botetourt girls’ basketball team will once again be the team to beat in the Blue Ridge District this season, as the Lady Cavaliers return six players, three of them starters.

After falling behind two games,  Lord Botetourt rallied back to claim a hard-fought 14-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-17 and 15-12 win over Fort Defiance Tuesday night in the quarterfinals of the Region III volleyball tournament.

In a battle to the end, Lord Botetourt held on to defeat Northside 25-23, 32-30 and 25-16 in the championship game of the Blue Ridge District volleyball tournament Thursday night in Daleville.

In Blue Ridge District volleyball action, Lord Botetourt claimed a 25-7, 25-15 and 25-20 win over Staunton River Tuesday night in Moneta.

Lord Botetourt cruised to a 25-10, 25-11 and 25-15 Blue Ridge District volleyball win over William Byrd Tuesday night in Daleville.

Lord Botetourt remained perfect in Blue Ridge District volleyball play, as the Cavaliers rode past Staunton River 25-12, 25-10, 21-25 and 25-13 Tuesday night in Daleville.

Lord Botetourt opened up Blue Ridge District volleyball action Thursday night with a 25-16, 26-24 and 25-18 win over William Byrd in Vinton.
