Staunton River welcomed Rockbridge County back to the Blue Ridge District with a 25-20, 25-16 and 25-18 win Thursday night in Moneta.

Jewell McRoy led the Golden Eagles (6-4, 4-1 BRD) with 17 assists and five aces. Abigail Moran had seven kills and four blocks and Brie Holdren tallied six kills and three blocks.

Logan Fitzgerald led the Wildcats (3-8, 0-1 BRD) with eight kills and eight service points. Kelly Huffman had 14 digs and Tamara Wade added 12 assists.
