Staunton River picked up its third victory of the season, as the Golden Eagles claimed a 53-44 non-district girls' basketball win over host Glenvar Monday night.

The Golden Eagles (3-4), who held a 29-20 halftime lead, continued to have the upper-hand throughout the second half in claiming the nine-point win.

Shaniesha Robinson led Staunton River with a game-high 18 points. Brianna Holdren and Jodi Salyer added 14 points apiece.

Kayla DeHart led Glenvar (7-2) with 14 points, including a trio of 3-pointers.
