Salem won all six of the singles matches and one doubles match, in claiming a 7-2 non-district boys tennis match over visiting William Byrd Thursday afternoon.
"Once again, we struggled early, losing all six singles matches, but we turned things around by taking two of three doubles matches," said William Byrd head coach Jason Perdue.
William Byrd's Trevor Perdue and Will Trent are 2-0 for the year at #3 doubles.
