Grace Sarver of Bland County and Alyssa Wingate of Grayson County advanced to today's singles championship of the Mountain Empire District girls tennis tournament being played at Wytheville Communiity College in Wytheville. Sarver and Kirby Mustard will also play Wingate and Devin Osborne this afternoon for the doubles title.
