Galax remained atop the Mountain Empire District standings, as the Maroon Tide defeated host Narrows 19-25, 25-20, 26-24 and 25-18 in district action Thursday night.

Grayson County handed host Narrows its first Mountain Empire District loss of the season, as the Blue Devils came away with a 26-24, 25-17 and 25-22 volleyball win Tuesday night.
