Patrick County continued its unbeaten streak, as the Cougars claimed a 25-13, 29-27, 21-25 and 25-20 Piedmont District volleyball win over Bassett Thursday evening.

TKeyah Hines led the Cougars (16-0, 5-0) with 17 kills and 10 blocks. Samantha Smith had 11 kills, Hannah Helbert tallied 20 kills. Beth Williams posted 25 assists, Kendra Hall recorded 19 assists, Logan Martin notched 18 digs and 10 points and Hannah Largen added 17 points.

In the JV game, Patrick County won 25-13 and 25-23.

Abby Hutchens led the Little Cougars (9-9, 4-1) with 10 points and Brandi Woods added nine points.
