All-Pioneer District Boys Basketball Team Announced

Parry McCluer's Zack Stinnett and Nelson Fox were named the Player and Coach of the Year on the 2012 All-Pioneer District Boys' Basketball Team.

Covington's Sa'mone Moore and Mark Pifer took the top honors on the 2012 All-Pioneer District Girls' Basketball Team, as the duo were named Player and Coach of the Year, respectively.

   

All-Pioneer District Volleyball Team Noted

Bath County came away with the top honors on the 2011 All-Pioneer District Volleyball Team, as Amanda Shifflett and Dave McGhee were named the Player and Coach of the Year, respectively.

Bath County Wins Group A, Division 1 Softball Title

Behind another strong pitching performance from Jailyn Ford, Bath County defeated Holston, 3-0, to win the Group A Division I Softball State Championship Saturday morning at Virginia Tech as part of the 2011 Spring Jubilee.

   

Ford's Arm And Bat Leads Bath County In Group A Softball

In addition to tossing a one-hitter and striking out 13, Jailyn Ford drove in the game’s only run in the top of the seventh to lead Bath County past Madison County, 1-0, Friday morning in the Group A Division I Softball State Semifinals, Friday at Virginia Tech as part of the 2011 Spring Jubilee.
