Andrew Tucker and Ryan Helpler combined for six RBIs in helping lead James River to an 8-2 non-district baseball win over Riverheads Monday evening in Buchanan.

Andrew Tucker led the Knights (5-4) with a 2-for-2 effort, including a two-run homer and three RBIs. Ryan Hepler was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, while Brent Cummings went 2-for-2.

Sophomore southpaw Jaret White went five innings in picking up the win on the mound for James River.

Lance Diehl led the Gladiators with a 2-for-3 showing.
