Cave Spring remained in second place in the River Ridge District volleyball race with a 25-14, 25-15 and 25-12 win over host Blacksburg Thursday night.

Erin Holsinger paced the Knights (22-3-1, 7-1 RRD) with 13 kills. Tessa Klimaitis contributed eight kills and Alyssa McKinley added five aces.

Catherine Boyle led the Bruins (10-15, 1-7 RRD) with six kills and four digs. Lindsey Cusimano tallied seven kills, Callie Friedberg recorded nine digs and Kara Woodward added one kill and five digs.
