The Titans scored late in the first half and made it hold up, as they defeated the Spartans, 1-0, in the semifinals of the Reion IV girls soccer tournament Wednesday night in Salem.

Hidden Valley (15-3-2), who clinched a spot in next week's state quarterfinals, will meet Blacksburg (16-2-2) for the region championship Friday night.

Reagan Dayberry scored the game's only goal for the Titans in the 29th minute.

Salem ended its season with a 14-2-3 record.
