Hidden Valley opened its 2010 campaign with a 25-11, 25-17 and 25-9 victory over Northside in a non-district volleyball match Tuesday night in Roanoke.

Kim McDow led the Titans (1-0) with 24 digs. Sarah Patterson recorded 21 assists, Jenny Clark had 15 kills and Rachel Thomas finished with four aces.

Ruth Anne Wilbourne led the Vikings (0-1) with 10 assists and 10 digs. Samantha Nguyn tallied 12 digs and Kelsey Jarrett had five kills
