Blacksburg ran away with the win. However, Hidden Valley and Salem battled for the second spot, as both teams finished tied, in a River Ridge District mini-tournament Thursday afternoon at the Par-71 Hidden Valley Country Club in Roanoke.
Blacksburg took the top spot with a 287, while Hidden Valley and Salem carded identical scores of 304 for second, followed by Cave Spring (318), Christiansburg (336) and Pulaski County (366).
Hidden Valley's Brad Elder and Blacksburg's Jack Prater shared medalist honors, as the pair shot a three-under-par 68.
