Landreth Resigns From Asst. Coaching Position At Pulaski County

Pulaski-Cougars-LogoSources have told Valley Sports Now that Rodney Landreth, who was expected to be named the interim coach football coach at Pulaski County, has resigned from the coaching staff.

Landreth, a 17-year veteran of the Pulaski County football program, was speculated by many to be named, at least, the interim coach for the upcoming season. However, various published reports state that he was informed that he would not be named the head coach and that the School Board had decided to post the job, and seek applications. If he wanted to apply and be considered, he could go through the application process just like anyone else who chose to apply for the post. Landreth decided to step down from his coaching position at that point.
