Former Virginia Tech wide receiver Nubian Peak was added to the Texas Tech training camp roster Monday, according to an online article in the Lubbock (Texas) Avalanche-Journal.

The article went on to say that Peak was in Lubbock on Monday, where the first orders of business were to enroll in school and sign a financial aid agreement.

The 5-foot-11, 183-pound Peak will be listed as a defensive back on the Red Raiders’ roster. As a high school senior in 2008, Peak was a 1,500-yard rusher on a Pulaski County (Va.) High School team that finished the year 12-1.
