Selecting a coach of the decade proved to be a difficult task.  Several coaches won multiple state championships.  But in the end it was clear that no single coach enjoyed the sustained success for as much of the decade as Salem's Stephen Magenbauer.

Magenbauer succeeded the legendary Willis White in 2004 as the football coach at Salem. Here are the records that his Spartan coached teams have accomplished since becoming Spartan's head coach:
