Mustangs Edge Bobcats In JV Softball

Tayler Lewis scattered five hits and struck out 12 batters, as she helped lead Eastern Montgomery to a 2-0 JV softball win over Radford Friday afternoon in Elliston.

Hailey Ferguson led the Mustangs (7-4, 3-2) with a triple, a single and a run scored, while Alyssa Sampson added an RBI double.

Gray led Radford with two singles and three stolen bases, while Webb tallied a single, a walk and a stolen base.

Thank you for your comment about our JV coverage. We are more than happy to report any JV action that is submitted to us. As for your question about only seeing items from East Mont when they win. We print all submissions, win or lose. Unfortunately, we only hear from some coaches when they win.
