Giles' Tanner Carbaugh was named the Three Rivers District Golfer of the Year, as he helped lead the Spartans to the district's regular-season title Thursday afternoon at Giles Country Club in Pearisburg.
Giles, the defending Group A state champions, finished with a team score of 292, which was 32 strokes better than second-place finisher Glenvar with 322 points. Auburn (324) was third, followed by Floyd County (327), Radford (333) and Eastern Montgomery (504).

Glenvar (322) - Karlyn East 79, Tyler Crockett 79, Austin Fox 80, Tim Howard 84.
Auburn (324) - Paxton Clabaugh 77, Jarrett Schutte 79, Braxton Coleman 80, Tanner Keen 88.
Floyd Co. (327) - Robby Whitlock 80, Max Willams 81, Amanda Hollandsworth 82, Victor Ling 84.
Radford (333) - Zeke Schafer 78, Tyler Price 83, Travis Wood 85, Anthony Miano 87.
