On a beautiful and slightly breezy Monday afternoon, Glenvar opened Three Rivers District golf play by winning the first of six mini-tournaments at the par-72 Auburn Hills Golf Club.
The Highlanders finished with a team score of 331, followed by Giles (340), Floyd County (349), Radford (350), Auburn (361) and East Mont (513).
Amanda Hollandswork took medalist honors with a round of 73.
Glenvar (331) - Austin Fox 74, Nathan Keffer 83, Tyler Crockett, 87, Colton Walls 87.
Giles (340) - Gunner Frazier 79, Cory Wilson 83, Hunter Carbaugh 85, Jacob Hutson 93.
Floyd County (349) - Amanda Hollandsworth 73, Randall Hale 86, Morgan Cox 92, Shawn Atkins 98.
Radford (350) - Tyler Price 83, Paul Parcell 86, Anthony Miano 90, Andrew Ritter 91.
Auburn (361) - Sean Wilkins 82, Tanner Keen 86, Marshall Jones 96, Jarrett Schutte 97.
East Mont (513) - Austin Gilmore 115, Barry Whitt 127, Zach Wimmer 128, Jessica Vishneski 143.
All of the teams will return to action Thursday in the second mini-tournament at Great Oaks.
