The Franklin County Lady Eagles visited Riverbend High School Saturday morning in the Northwest Region Finals to determine first and second place. The match lasted only through the singles round because Riverbend won five of six singles to win 5-1.

The Franklin County Lady Eagles Tennis Team won their Northwest Regional semifinal match against Broad Run Friday evening by a team score of 5-0.

The Franklin County Lady Eagles Tennis team beat Albemarle Wednesday, at home by a team score of 5-3 in the Northwest Regionals. This was a long awaited quarterfinal match that was originally scheduled Monday and then Tuesday but was rained out both days.

The Franklin County Lady Eagles Tennis Team went away to Rivers Edge Park Friday night to play their Western Valley District rival Patrick Henry. In the last match between the two, the Eagles came away with an 8-1 win but it was a lot closer last night as the Eagles "eekked" out a 5-4 win.

The Franklin County Lady Eagles tennis team hosted William Fleming Tuesday for a match that was postponed from before the Spring Break. The threatening rain held off enough to get in the six singles matches and three doubles matches, all won by Franklin County.

Franklin County rode the arm and bat of Brittany Flora, as the Eagles flew past George Washington 18-0 in Western Valley District softball action Friday in Rocky Mount. The game was called after five innings due to the slaughter rule.
