Patrick Henry used a balanced scoring attack, as they defeated Osbourn 56-35 in the semifinals of the Northwest Region boys semifinals Saturday night in Roanoke.
Patrick Henry (19-4), who secured their first trip to the Group AAA state quarterfinals since 1992, will host Gar-Field Monday night for the regional title.
The Patriots marched out to a 12-9 lead after the opening eight minutes and would increase their advantage to 29-19 at the half. Patrick Henry would outscore Osbourn (18-7) 27-16 in the second half to claim the 56-35 win.
Kalleone Moret led Patrick Henry with 14 points. Melvin Henderson tossed in 11 points and Ty Smith added 10 points.
