Patrick Henry used its ground attack Friday night, as they ran away with a 35-7 victory over Hidden Valley in Roanoke.
The Titans (0-1) would take a 7-0 lead with 4:01 left in the opening quarter on a 5-yard run by Walker Brand and the PAT by Kevin Draudt.
After a scoreless second quarter, the Patriots (1-0) would tie the game in the third quarter on a 5-yard run by Brandon Terry.
Patrick Henry would put this one out of reach in the fourth quarter with 28 unanswered points. A 4-yard scamper by Zach Cochran, a 1-yard plunge by Terry, a i-yard run by Xavier Whorley and a 66-yard gallop by David Prince would give the Patriots the season-openign 35-7 win over the Titans, who they lost to 44-14 last year.
The Patriots tallied 345 yards on the ground and 3 yards passing. Brandon Terry led the way with 126 yards.
Hidden Valley 81 yards on the ground 30 yards passing. Dylan Johnson led the Titans with 87 yards.
